Snowflake Challenge - Day 1

snowflake_challenge . When she described it, I was interested in the idea of a challenge encouraging participation in your fannish communities.
This will be my first time participating, so I only have a small idea of what the challenge entails. I have started skimming through the challenges from last year. I feel like it will be a good way to get myself to be more active over here on Dreamwidth. I was once very active on LJ, then wandered over to Tumblr, but I miss the format of sites like this and the ability to have good comment conversations.
