Snowflake Challenge - Day 1

I think it was at least a month ago that down  mentioned wanting to do the snowflake_challenge . When she described it, I was interested in the idea of a challenge encouraging participation in your fannish communities.

This will be my first time participating, so I only have a small idea of what the challenge entails. I have started skimming through the challenges from last year. I feel like it will be a good way to get myself to be more active over here on Dreamwidth. I was once very active on LJ, then wandered over to Tumblr, but I miss the format of sites like this and the ability to have good comment conversations.

This! Tumblr is where I find pretty pictures and do a lot of mindless scrolling, but here is where you can really connect with people by having discussions.

You could always participate if you want. There are no deadlines on challenges, so you could pick up whenever.
