She looks so beautiful pillowed in the tangled duvet. Her hair is shimmering gold in the bright morning sunlight. As the sun creeps higher into the sky, the shining tendrils find new angles to illuminate her. Her skin practically glows while she buries her face further into the soft white fabric.

Brushing the hair away her neck, he leans down and kisses her just below her ear, smiling against her skin when she sighs and rolls over.

“Good morning,” she whispers, leaning up to kiss him.

Enveloping himself in her warm embrace, he wishes for more mornings like this.
