The “Almighty” Emperor Kr’tkso was pontificating about his latest plot for galactic domination, and Jack couldn’t help but mock him. He cocked his head to the side and mouthed the words with his hand.

True, that wasn’t what had them found. No, it was Rose’s laughing at him that got them captured.

The both of them fell into a fit of giggles when the guards surrounded them.

“Rule number six thousand eleven,“ Jack began with a snigger.

“Don’t imitate the mad dictator,” Rose coughed, choking back another laugh.

The Doctor would scold them for being captured, but neither would care

I actually had to cut the very first line of the original draft to fit in Rose's response, but I think it works better like this, anyway. The first line was a bit redundant anyway.

That is my favourite bit as well. You know that "rule number one" must have spawned many a joke from those two.

Isn't it just? I always think of them cracking jokes about things, as I cannot see Jack as being remotely serious in most situations.
