I am debating on baking a chocolate cake, because I have a craving. So I first pose this question to my friend list as I ponder on this farther.

I got an awesome Jack Daniels chocolate cake recipe off cooks.com. I wholeheartedly endorse it! It's wicked easy to make but needs choc frosting and not the "light dusting of cocoa powder" the recipe calls for. Of course then there's also the in vouge Red Velvet Cake--but sour cream would make it moister than buttermilk. Have fun with your cake--and post the recipe you use!

The recipe is very easy. Boxed cake mix, add water, oil, and eggs. Bake and cover in chocolate frosting.

It's too late to be making anything from scratch.
