6. Favorite Band/Artist: Garth Brooks forever! But Carrie Underwood is pretty high on the list.
7. Dirty or Clean: Depends upon what we're talking about. ;)
8. Tattoos and/or Piercings: Not fond of either, really.
9. Do we know each other outside of LJ? Depends upon who you are. ;) I've met a few of you outside of LJ. I'm also friends with a few of you on facebook.
10. What's your philosophy on life? What goes around comes around. I try to treat other how I would like to be treated. Key word being 'try'. Sometimes I don't accomplish this goal.
11. Is the bottle half-full or half-empty? Half full... except when I am feeling sorry for myself then it is always half-empty.
12. Would you keep a secret from me if you thought it was in my best interest? Most likely.
14. What is your favorite guilty pleasure? Hm... that's a hard one. I would have to say decent smut!fic. Because I honestly don't like baby!fic most of the time, even though I tend to frequently write it.
15. Tell me one odd/interesting fact about you: I'm terrified of riding lawn mowers. I always fear the person driving it might actually be a serial killer and they will use it to kill me. I know it's silly, but I can't talk myself out of it.
16. You can have three wishes - what are they? 1. to have my student loans paid. 2. to speak all the languages I want to speak. 3. to have a job where I can travel the world.

18. Which country is your spiritual home? That's an interesting one. I have always wanted to go to New Zealand. Move there, study there, visit there, I don't care, but the want has always been there as long as I can remember.
19. What is your big weakness? Chocolate.
21. What was your best/favorite subject at school? I really like one of my Political Science classes I am taking. If I tell you what it is, I'll have to kill you. ;)
22. Describe your accent I guess I have a sort of non-accent American accent. Nothing that really says I am from one specific place. I can go very Southern if I feel like it, but aside formt he occasional ya'll, I don't sound like I am from anywhere. If I get very tired or angry though, I actually sound VERY English, so much so I have been mistaken as being English by a Brit.
24. What do you wear to sleep? depends upon the season. Summer: T-shirt or vest top and shorts. Winter: Long sleeved t-shirt or a sweatshirt and long pyjama pants.
25. Trousers or skirts? Skirts. Trousers never fit me well. Small waist and thick thighs do not make for pretty trousers.

16. You can have three wishes - what are they? Loaded question. I could say “world peace” and all that, but I’m going to be completely selfish. And note these all have terms and conditions so that when this magical genie offers me these three amazing wishes, they won’t come back to haunt me. Ever. So... 1) Money. I won’t ever lie about that – there’s no point. 2) Good health for the rest of my life. 3) The ability to help animals. Somehow.

18. Which country is your spiritual home? I’m gonna have to say Australia. Simply because I’ve not been anywhere else.

In the center is Empire Strikes Back, however there are perennial faves (Sunset Blvd, Raise the Red Lantern, Cinema Paradiso, Delicatessen, Breakfast Club, In a Lonely Place, etc.) & also films I have been known to gladly waste a weekend afternoon for: LOTR 2, any HP marathon, Aliens, Galaxy Quest, etc.

11. Is the bottle half-full or half-empty? Both…either… Depending on my ability to remain objective, unreactive, balanced and positive on any given day.
12. Would you keep a secret from me if you thought it was in my best interest? No. I believe real friends can always find a way to communicate, even about the hard stuff.
13. What is your favorite memory of us? You had me @ An Adventure in Self Discovery…
14. What is your favorite guilty pleasure? When the spirit moves me: Singing (really loudly) in my car.
15. Tell me one odd/interesting fact about you: I was an honorary sister at an MIT fraternity.
16. You can have three wishes - what are they? 1) One more season of 10/Rose (2) A spin-off show of TenII/Rose (3) a chef to cook dinner for me every night because I’m so f’ing tired of all of my recipes it’s making me sick!
17. Can we get together and make a cake? Absolutely, I LOVE baking (and have had reviews written on FB!). But be warned: I tend to take over and do all the work—can’t help it, I’m an only child…
18. Which country is your spiritual home? Boston, MA, USA
19. What is your big weakness? Bread, sugar and cheese—but NOT all at once!
20. Do you think I'm a good person? Sure, I believe everyone is doing the best that they can with what they have. Wouldn't have f'listed you if I'd thought you were a wanker...
21. What was your best/favorite subject at school? In high school it was: AP literature, history and AP psychology. I was also in AP biology, but I’ve no idea why—probably because it looked good on the transcript, but I did well.
22. Describe your accent HA! There’s actually a story to this. I’m from MA, but then spent 2 years against my will in FL and graduated HS there. I went to a college where they made us all take mandatory speech classes. The first week we were there, for orientation, we all had to go into this big, oak-paneled room a la Flashdance, and read a poem aloud to three crusty looking academics. Since I had ALWAYS been the one in school who was asked to read aloud, I thought to myself This is the easiest thing in the world, I’m going to totally do well at this! After I was done one of them asked me (in the snootiest tone possible) “Where are you from…exactly?” Needless to say, I flunked talking… was put in a speech class to get rid of a slight nasality that turned out to be an actual fault in the construction in my nose, finally took their damn voice class and had my weird Boston/Southern mixed accent beaten out of me. However, when I’m angry, lazy or with family (depending on the group), I’m either dropping all of my R’s (Boston all the way), or rockin my southern twang! To make matters worse, I’ve always been a bit of a mimic, so I also tend to Zelig out and absorb accents!

12. Would you keep a secret from me if you thought it was in my best interest? I doubt I'd have a secret to keep from you in the first place.
13. What is your favorite memory of us? Remember that one time, where you left a cliffhanger on one of your stories...oh wait....
14. What is your favorite guilty pleasure? Hm. I think I'd say Doctor Who in general. Really - I can't resist it if it's Doctor Who and especially Rose/Doctor related (fan fiction, stuff, books, etc.).
15. Tell me one odd/interesting fact about you: Well, I'm addicted to books. No, really. ADDICTED. I will buy books upon books. Books about books. I love libraries and I almost cry a little inside when my boyfriend listens to audio books more than he reads. lol.
16. You can have three wishes - what are they? (1) that someone would just gift me my degree already ("oh, that pesky thesis, you don't have to worry about that anymore, here you go...) (2) bills got magically paid off (3) neverending funds to not only help my family and boyfriend, but to provide me with a healthy amount for traveling, books, coffee and chocolate in the future.

18. Which country is your spiritual home? I don't know actually, I'll tell you when I find it
19. What is your big weakness? Serious answer: My nieces and nephew. Otherwise: coffee
20. Do you think I'm a good person? I don't know you too well yet, but as far as I can tell, sure.

Describe your accent: Oh, well, I'm from Texas and sometimes that accent just jumps right out which is just strange because we don't come from a accent-heavy part of Texas (very far West Texas, practically New Mexico). Sometimes, mostly when I've been watching quite a bit of British tv (which, come on now, is very often) I will sorta pick up parts of their accent lol
23. If you could change anything about me, would you? I couldn't change you even if I wanted to. So...no?
24. What do you wear to sleep? during the summer, it's a tank and shorts. During the winter, a sweatshirt or long-sleeved t shirt and pj bottoms.

Me, tease? You must have me confused with someone else. I never tease or leave anything in a cliffhanger.... then plan to open the next part with an entirely different scene so no one knows why Rose was screaming until half-way into the chapter.
30. What do you do for a living? Well, I'm a grad student, and apparently by definition that makes me poor. Because of that, I am the undergrad advisor for my department. It keeps me in coffee, books and movies. Oh yeah, and food. ha.
I think you're right about the poor part. I haven't much money to spare myself. Undergrad advisor sounds like an interesting gig. I liked my undergrad advisor. I was glad I graduated when she left. I don't think I could have dealt with another one.

Being an advisor is interesting. A part of my time is spent trying to get faculty to do what I tell them to do, another part I'm trying to get students to do what I tell them to do and yet another part I'm trying to do what my college is telling me to do. ha. I'm glad you liked your advisor - mine was nonexistent. I hope my students get some use of the information I tell them.

Your comments were some of the ones I looked forward to reading because I like knowing what people actually think of my stories, not just if they liked them or not. Which is why I tend to laugh a criticism.
