How is it March, already????

I mean, like really?

For those who don't know (how many of you are following me? Like three people? Whateves) My third wedding anniversary was on the 3rd. We had a nice quiet day in until we walked to Sainsbury's to get pepperoni and chocolate because we were out and wanted things like pizza. And basically spent most of the mile walk there cracking jokes about walking in the snow uphill both ways! Because it is literally a mile from our house to Sainsbury's (no we don't have a corner shop, sadly) and as we have to cross a river valley, we di have to walk uphill half the way both ways. Bad jokes are bad, but make me laugh.

When I say snow... we were literally snowed in for days. We had nearly a foot of snow here at one point. And it was dry loose snow - the sort that blows into even deeper drifts - which made for interesting times all around. We had plenty of food and stuff to keep us going while we were stuck in. Did exciting things like marathon bits of Cardcaptor Sakura and cackle.

I also made the mistake of continually staying up far too late. Which - once upon a time - didn't use to be a problem, as I could just sleep in for ages the next day. But I have a cat who wants to eat breakfast between 7-7:30 in the morning and will not generally take no for an answer about that. And even if I do go back to sleep afterward, I never sleep as well as I was before I had to get up.

But it is currently Umi week over at fuckyeahrayearth and I am trying to do a little bit of writing for most of the days, though I hope to get a drawing done by the end of the week if I can...

And I don't even know what the point of this post is anymore. So... I should be off. It's almost time for me to be leaving anyway.
